I don't defend anyone, I'm just pointing out that islamophobia isn't justified

also IHOP may not be precisely a terrorist organisation, however, they are responsible for thousands of people who died only because of them and their lobbing in African countries, so they are not better

First of all. Any "phobia" is a medical condition that would be diagnosed from a professional. You, or anyone else who is not a doctor, is not qualified to call anyone any kind of "phobic". You don't know what you are talking about. Further more a "phobia" is defined as "an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something." So people who live in Britain or France, who have seen terrorist attacks increase every year. Who see their politicians yawn and make excuses for the bloodshed. Who saw little girls get blown to pieces at an Arianna Grande concert, and dozens of people mowed down like animals,  by a truck in France, would you call those people being afraid "irrational, or unfounded". I wouldn't, I think that's a very rational fear when a religion slaughters hundreds of people for their "Holy Month", and then have their leaders come out at call them "Islamophobes". Their fear is anything but "irrational".  Radical Islam is the source of the fear, and hatred, and loss. To place blame, or to insinuate that victims, or those who do not want to be victims as hateful,  is a special kind of disgusting.

literally throughout his entire campaign, where were you?

But did he explicitly say "Blacks/Mexicans/Immigrants/Transgender etc. are inferior"? Don't believe he did

First of all words have meaning we assign them, therefore words islamophobia and homophobia are legitimate to use because we all know what they mean.

And yes if people who saw murder on the street are now scared of all muslims and want them out of the country are being irrational and stupid.

EDIT: oh and I love how you ignored my point that IHOP is evil and no better than terrorists

Oh, radical islamists. Yep, I'm glad that's a reason you voted for this bigot (if you did vote for him). And what has he done to stop the spread of radical Islam? It doesn't seem like much of anything.

Honestly, your posts make me laugh. Thanks for that, I guess.

you don't have to say "mexicans are inferior" to be racist :awkney: his quotes are heavily implying that and any decent person wouldn't say the things he said about minorities and women, that's all I need to know

don't forget how he mocked a disabled person, called Mexicans rapists and criminals, sexually assaulted women and so on and so on... I could continue, the point is he is a terrible person and I am truly shook how some people still fail to see that because it's so obvious, just watch one interview or one debate...

"Islamophobia" is a term that was created with the sole purpose to shut down anyone who would criticize Islam. Period.

Kind of like how Hillary referred to black teenagers as "super predators" or half of America as a "basket of deplorables"? I don't remember anyone here accusing her of being a Nazi, or even racist for that matter.

It's so cute, because if you actually LISTENED to the speech he gave in Saudi Arabia you would see that he announced the formation of a coalition to expose terrorist funding, and provide protection for whistle blowers. He also greatly praised Arabic culture and its rich history in great detail. It's really easy to think he's done nothing when you get your news from buzzfeed and CNN. :toofunny:

In what way is Trump trying to "erase our identity". These claims simply are not rooted in reality. Him saying he "shares interests" with religious groups isn't the same as "Put the gays in the gas chamber". You are CHOOSING to jump to that conclusion. Trump supporters, and/or the President himself are NOT responsible for your irrational conclusions. If you want to talk facts, policy, and quotes that's all good, in fact I implore you to hold him or any other politician accountable. We however, are under no compulsion to apologize for your irrational and wild accusations and assumptions. You don't understand where Gay's For Trump are coming from, and you clearly don't intend to.  You just want to HATE us. Ironic.

How is the Trump Admin erasing our identity? Well, for starters they removed all trace of LGBTQ related pages or issues from the whitehouse.gov webpages onJanuary 20, 2017. They also have failed to acknowledge June as LGBTQ Pride Month.

And as for the last sentence of your rant...the essence of mynpost was to  support their right to be at Pride so...

Actually people did call her out for those things.

And half of America are a basket of deplorables if they support the deplorable things their leader supports.

Any basis for that? Seems to me you are just islamophobic and you want to desperately justify your hateful rhetoric...

"Islamophobia" is a term created for people like you, who want to oppress muslims just because of terrorist organisations. I criticize Islam a lot, I'm not a fan of any organised religion because I find them all deeply problematic yet nobody calls me an "islamophobe", wanna know why? Because I still respect people and their basic human rights. :) There is around 1,5 BILLION of muslims, if they were all dangerous and decided to suicide bomb us, we would be already death.

Okay i didn't hear about him mocking a disabled person. About the Mexicans, i was appalled when he implied that ALL of them are rapists and criminals but i do not doubt that one may have crossed the border from time to time and i agree that immigration should be more tightly controlled. About the sexual assault, most of those claims later turned out to be fake and i found it funny how all these claims that he sexually assaulted those women came out after that video was leaked.
