How do you prepare for a concert?

Not The Real Gaga

I basically just eat a lof of food. Take a shower, put on some regular day clothes, go to the venue, stand in line a few hours before the show, get myself annoyed by those way too over the top screaming and dressed people, let my tickets scan, grab some more food and drinks, walk to my seat, walk to the toilet 10.000 times because of nerves (everytime friendly smiling to all the other people in the same row), complain and try to ignore Lady Starlight, look at my watch because Gaga is too late, get more nervous, enjoy the show (until those OVER-THE-TOP HUNTIES ARE RUINING EVERY SINGLE BEAUTIFUL MOMENT BY SCREAMING SOOOOOOO LOUD). The end. Oh, I have always a good time, though. I am just too boring I guess for those wild concert parties

Hmm I usually just make sure I am well fed and healthy before going. Took lots of foods with vitamins C, get flu shot, etc

If I am healthy then I can make sure I can foght back when eople trying to shoulder in and steal my spot. Also the push and shove too, unfit comdition will do really bad in such sitution, worst case one could faint and even stomped alive if the crowds are bunch of jerks.

As for strategic standing position, I mostly familiar which part are best since I've been to a few shows in same venues before. If there are stage pictures, that will help even better cos by the size, I can guess if I should choose a place bit closer to stage or further back.

I've never been to a concert so idk:cryga: I'm gonna look like a weirdo because I plan to just sit in my seat and watch, I'm not the sort of person to get up and dance and sing.

From my experience I'd say wear sunscreen, have a heavy breakfast and hydrating drinks before you go there so you don't have to pee when the show starts. I'd also recommend wearing comfy shoes because nobody is going to see your outfit, especially if you wear heels or flat shoes, so I'd say wear some sport ones. Don't forget snacks if you're going to be there early. I've done this once at the Monster Ball and never did again, such a horrible experience, I got sunburnt and it poured rain at night. With the Born This Way Ball I got there at 5 pm and I still got a good spot.

I just try to be at the venue as soon as possible.

BTWB: 1st Row (Gaga Shirt)

ArtRave: 1st Row (Dope Sweater)

If we all made a conscious decision to not do the whole pre-concert 'I need to be first in line' bs, then we wouldn't have to put up with waiting inline for hours/days/months/years before the show starts!

However that being said, I showed up for the BTWB and artRAVE about 15 mins before doors opening, got inline, queue started moving straight away. Got inside and found amazing spots both times. BTWB I was in the middle about 4 people away from the catwalk, artRAVE I was directly to the left of the ARTPOP lounge right in the middle of all the runways.
