it is illegal to sell items with a trademarked name, logo, design

end thread /

There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled.

I mean you can't just make money selling merch that features the trademarked name or designs of another artist? It's copyright infringement.

People can try to make a big deal out of the person being 15 but I really don't see that as something relevant tbh.

That's such a shallow way to make money though. Living off of the hype of someone unofficially/illegally is bad.

You can't just use someones trademark to sell items and then cry "But I'm only 15!"

Your lucky she's just asking you to stop, rather than to stop you and then file a lawsuit for the money you made of her trademark

In fact, it's quite @Irrelevant :poot:

But yes, I think the fan should've done some research before selling the merch. The title is misleading-ish though, it's not Beyonce that decided to do this :oprah:

I mean, this person is clearly selling copyrighted things that is Beyonce's name and her image without permission and sharing profits. What is he complaining again? He clearly broke the law.

I was about to put "Bey's Team" but you can never tell. A rich person is always behind his/her team or I should say lawyers.

The bluntness :air:

But yeah, it's in direct violation of copyright laws so... This fan is 15, they still have plenty of time to find other ways of making money.

You're stinky

As said before, it's against the law. I feel no sympathy for them.

Also, Bey didn't 'threaten' anybody; her team did. Who knows if she's even aware.
