My only concern with this is the cruel way these animals are treated. I can't criticize them because I love meat.

Dogs and cats are domesticated animals that only exist as there are today because their ability to form bonds with humans. Dogs are born to love humans - they naturally can read human body language and emotion. So I wouldn't call it hypocritical to value dogs over other animals, there's a reason why they have earned the title "Man's Best Friend".

Survival is more important considering millions are starving. These dogs may be bullied by this festival but Gaga has not said anything of such matter.

What do you think these animals have to eat and drink? They are dwindling our resources that could actually feed millions around the world. The amount of water and grain a cow has to eat just to produce one pound of beef is ridiculous, and not to mention, that pound of beef is going towards the people who can afford it, not those who are starving. 

I know Gaga hasn't spoke out about it, but why does she even have to in order for you to recognize its wrong?

I'm against fur, leather, protesting against it, I'm protesting against the use of animals for religious purposes, volunteering since I'm a kid in animals shelter, I have 2 stray dogs that one of them was attacked by kids and they cut his back and let him bleed on the roads and I adopted him and now he's the happiest dog alive, I joined a group of vegans to released chicks from a few farms in my country, I did thinks, many things and still doing.

 So be it, I'm hypocrite..

You do not NEED to eat meat, whatever nutrients you need in meat, you can easily get elsewhere. There are many meat alternatives on the market, many ways to cook and flavour food to give you meaty textures or taste. Is your own cravings more important than suffering? Because at the end of the day, that's what it comes down to.

Again, you're looking at a point of view where *you* think these people are having trouble trying to feed themselves as if vegetation will be completely out of their reach when it's not. Meat may come the hardest as you say, and I agree, so to them it'd be considered a luxury. 

Idk if a lot of you could ever see it outside the westernized/first world view, but research your arguments carefully.

I'd prefer people to be hypocritical and the festival gets stopped than just ignore it. I'd urge anyone who feels strongly against this to speak out and not let anyone dictate your morals/beliefs. 

It's either we do nothing and all the animals suffer or we get "hypocritical" and spare some.

I'm not a meat eater either.
