There are millions suffering around the world and starving to death. Not eating animal products is the furthest thing from torture or suffering, its incredibly embarrassing to read that. 

I was wondering where your empathy lies? Gaga has a strong point for bullied people and sexual assault victims, are you able to feel empathy for them?

They kill the dogs to consume, which isn't at all different from killing the billions of chickens, cows, pigs and fish that we do every year just for food that we crave, not need. If they killed dogs for fun, is that so much more different from killing a pig just for taste? It isn't okay to kill a dog, but killing a pig (who is just as, if not more intelligent), is ok?

Which is why cutting off available resources for such a massive group of people is a bad idea just because the animals are "hurting" The first world countries may have plentiful of resources to sustain their own people endlessly but trying to feel the pain of the more unfortunate ones by allowing yourselves to relate to their current status won't do any good. It's better to provide than to suspend their only source for survival.

Survival is more important considering millions are starving. These dogs may be bullied by this festival but Gaga has not said anything of such matter.

You are taking this as a personal attack. I do not know you personally, nor do I care. All I know from your post is you find animal abuse wrong, and therefore all I can ask is why do you still purchase animal products when you do not need to?

Because I like to eat meat and hate how the animals are treated, a simple calculation means that I want to change the way that the animals are brutally being killed. I want to eat meat that died naturally, without any murderous hand of the man.

But if we go deeper in my life, I can't stop eating meat, even if I wanted to, so I need to eat the meat that we have now to stay alive..

Of course I'm taking it as personal, all the meat eaters are taking it personal because you make it personal.. it's really an easy computation..

And I read and watched and hit myself  in the face too many times, I know everything, I'm not hiding behind a mask and thinking that the chicken breast is magically comes in a beautiful shape to my plate..

I'm against fur, leather, protesting against it, I'm protesting against the use of animals for religious purposes, volunteering since I'm a kid in animals shelter, I have 2 stray dogs that one of them was attacked by kids and they cut his back and let him bleed on the roads and I adopted him and now he's the happiest dog alive, I joined a group of vegans to released chicks from a few farms in my country, I did thinks, many things and still doing.

 So be it, I'm hypocrite..

I don't agree with banning them from eating dog meat. Imagine the uproar banning cow meat would cause in the US.

I just don't understand why they can't compromise. Let them eat dog meat, but have regulations that supervise how the dogs are treated and killed. And that goes for everywhere in world.

I don't know, this issue should be resolved by now. Vegans have no right to dictate how everyone else should eat, but most importantly meat eaters have NO RIGHT to treat animals the way they do. A quick and clean death will do.

Like I just can't think of WHY we're still debating this while we have way more important issues to deal with. Humanity is so disappointing. We'll never agree on anything.

Cutting what resources? Meat from animals? Raising animals for slaughter uses up resources. Those animals need to be fed crops and given freshwater. The Water Footprint Network estimates that every kilogram of bovine meat requires 15,415 liters of water to produce. All the corn and grain going to fatten up livestock could be better distributed to help alleviate world hunger. 

I'm not demonizing people in poverty keeping their own cows or goats for milk and/or chickens for meat and eggs, for them it is a resource.

But the large scale factory farmed meat and dairy industry is doing nothing to provide resources for people.

I believe that the rage we have when we see this is because in most of the countries dogs are treated as pets and even part of the families. Cows, pigs and chickens were aways treated as food. Still, I know how they are killed and it makes me outraged.

I'm just not vegan because my family gets mad with me even when I just don't want to eat so much fat. I'm trying to make a easy diet and just because of it they say I'm turning anorexic

every monday and wednsedays i have school assembly and we got like sharing from teachers and groups in our school

they never talk about this

instead they talk about climate change or how disgusting fidget spinners are
