donutellha 13,819
I just love the ritual of watching a movie: going with friends to a theater and sneaking to see the next movie, old family memories, and of course streaming it with GGD under the manifesto of mother Haroon on friday nights Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

People must think how sad my life is when I'm sitting all alone there but I do love going out with people when I don't particularly care about the movie And also I must try this haroon movie theatre experience too 1 minute ago, radtorshy said: Fav movie franchise I'm most excited about: Star Wars Director whose movies i almost always love: Jon Favreau The best performance of all time: Helen Mirren (The Hundred Foot Journey) The scene where I cried like an infant for more than 5 minutes: The montage at the beginning of Up Movie that I liked but now think they could have been much much better: Star Wars Prequel Trilogy (I was a kid back then! Korok 4,272
Two of my favorite movie scenes (which both make me cry) are in I am Legend and Dancer in the Dark. I always cry when Will has to kill his dog and when Selma gets executed.

Fellini, 8 1/2: Guido dreaming he was floating in sky and tethered to a beach. 2. Coppola, Dracula: Lucy as an undead in a wedding dress 3. Woody Allen, Annie Hall: The awkward scene between Alvy and Annie at her home. 4. Dogville: Grace watching Dogville burn to the ground 5. Interstellar: When Murph discovers who the ghost is. msisux 2,261
Fave movie genre hands down: Musicals. I could go on and on about them forever, but instead, I'll just shut up and keep bopping to soundtracks Fave actor: Danny DeVito Fave actress: Susan Sarandon Favorite movie franchise: High School Musical Favorite movie: The Rocky Horror Picture Show Fave sequel: Shock Treatment (The underrated and unloved sequel to Rocky Horror) It's also really fun to watch the camera work and point out the long shots and how many cuts there are in a certain scene. It's upsetting when there are times in a film shot "in the past," so all the costumes, sets, and props are considered period pieces. Somehow, the studio allows people in the scene with very modern hairstyles, throwing off the look. (Fantastic Beasts, I'm looking at you )
Madam Margolyes 7,783
My fave movie is and will always be All About Eve. I remember watching All About Eve and i was left in awe of what i just witnessed. The acting (Margo Channing!!) was superb and all, but the screenplay was truly MAJESTIC. Coming from a drama about rivalry in theater industry, i never expected it to hit me that hard. Another one is Tokyo Story, beautifully filmed and emotionally stirring without even trying. Also Citizen Kane and Memories of Murder. Tbh Memories of Murder is the perfect example of how to make an expertly made murder mystery story. It's my most favorite korean movie, i even like it better than Oldboy.
Ooolong 4,440
Fav movie franchise I'm most excited about: Scream Director whose movies I almost always love: Wes Craven's The best performance of all time: Probably something with Meryl Streep. The scene where I cried like an infant: Can't remember any? There have been lots, though. Movie that I liked but now think they could have been much much better: Uh, Night of the Demons, I guess, but the franchise and not simply the original. The original and its sequel are great, but the third one, which I liked when I was younger, and the remake of the original are pretty dreadful. Movie from a genre that you dislike: I absolutely hate western movies, and I don't know the titles of any, lmao. Guilty Pleasures: I guess musicals, except I'm not 'guilty' or ashamed of liking them, but probably one of the last genres I'd mention to people, lmao. Favorite Recent Movie: Moonlight but I'm getting ready to watch Hidden Figures so maybe that'll change. Favorite Movie (All Time): Scream The Unbannable Chanteuse
