Bebe 16,946 Posted May 14, 2017 Share Posted May 14, 2017 It's difficult because Nicola was with her when she was more crazy with her fashion, while she clearly wanted to tone down a bit for C2C and Joanne. I love her fashion during TFM/BTW so I have to give it to Nicola, but with that said - what I appreciate with Brandon is his ability to manage these glamorous, beautiful looks with just a hint of "Gaga". Her Oscars pantsuit with the cape made it look like she was wearing this glamorous gown. It was this perfect mix between old hollywood, classic glamour and unexpected, unconventional Gaganess. Her dress for The Emmys, obviously also designed by Maxwell, was similar: She looked like a classic hollywood actress, yet still managed to provide just a glimpse of her eccentricity.
