YeehawKylie 7,817
Over the next 2 to 3 days, I will be ranking what are (in my professional opinion) the 30 Best Songs of Jennifer Lopez. Lopez is an iconic Latina pop-star, dancer, and actress whose career includes four number one singles (in the US), a number one album and four multi-platinum records, four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe nomination, and a cumulative film gross of $2.89 billion. A star who began her career as a dancer on In Living Color, before enjoying a successful span of films during the late 90s including Selena, Out of Sight, Anaconda, and The Cell, Lopez transitioned to the music scene for the release of her iconic debut album On the 6, a multi-platinum album with a string of hit singles. Since then, Lopez has continued to dominate the music, film and television industries and shows no signs of stopping as she gears up for her second Spanish-language album all while continuing to star in the hit television drama Shades of Blue, among other film and television projects in the works. Each set will consist of 5 Songs, with my short review. These songs will be released separately for a total of 30 posts over the course of the countdown. Essentially set one will include #30-26, set two #25-21, and so on. While my Kylie Minogue countdown included up to 50 songs, this one will be limited to 30 as I know the musical career of Jennifer Lopez is not nearly as large or well-followed as Queen Minogue. An honorable mention of five songs from #31-35 have been selected and will be revealed if there is enough interest in this countdown. Please join this thread to discuss my choices. Were there any songs that didn't make the cut? Ones that should have been higher or lower? This is the place to discuss! Honorable Mention: #35. Forever #34. Until It Beats No More #33. No Me Ames #32. Hypnotico #31. First Love Top 30: #30. Booty (feat. Iggy Azealia) #29. Walking on Sunshine #28. Apresurate #27. Feelin' So Good #26. He'll Be Back #25. I'm Into You #24. Hades 27,980
You better include glorious album tracks like ''Let It Be Me''/ ''Hypnotico''/Stay Together.
YeehawKylie 7,817
Glad to see @Gia Gunn and @RAMROD here. Hopefully @juju, @KING ELIZABITCH (who comments just as I write this), and a few others can follow along once it gets going. Regardless, I will subject this site to my love of J.Lo. This list will encompass all her albums and include a mixture of singles and non-singles. As it's just 30 songs, remember that this is just a small selection of her work (it'll keep it interesting and ensure meltdowns). #30-26 reveal will occur tomorrow, 5/9 at 4PM EST. It is possible the next round will occur later tomorrow evening (so stay tuned after the first round for a time), look forward to seeing you there! JusKeepBreathin 19,311
She's had two number one BB200 albums. "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." -Martin Luther King Jr.

I was just referring to her standard releases, not the remix albums or compilations. But yes, her Remix album hit #1 and went Platinum, so I guess it's good to mention. That being said, 2.5 hours until the first set are revealed. Stay tuned!
YeehawKylie 7,817
30. Booty (feat. Iggy Azealia) One of the best ‘club bangers’ Jennifer Lopez has given the world. Booty does what it sets out to do and does it well. The production is a danceable tune to which Lopez’s commanding vocals direct the song to an iconic status. While it only peaked at #18 on the Billboard Hot 100, it is hard to imagine most people, especially from the younger crowd, not immediately thinking of this song when they think of Ms. Lopez. YeehawKylie 7,817
29. Walking on Sunshine An underrated, and often forgotten, gem from Jennifer Lopez’s second album. I can only imagine this song was a contender to become a single at some point. The production was current, yet progressive, for its 2001 release. The chorus is breezy, fun, with just enough ‘punch’ of energy. A decade-and-a-half later, the song still maintains its progressive sound and effortless chorus. YeehawKylie 7,817
28. Apresurate The song, whose title essentially translates to ‘Hurry Up’ in English, is one of the highlights of her Spanish-language debut. This sweeping Spanish-ballad transcends language barriers, presenting Lopez’s vulnerabilities and insecurities through the emotive vocals and complimentary production. YeehawKylie 7,817
27. Feelin’ So Good This song is classic Jennifer Lopez. While I could do without the male vocals and verses, the chorus is so infectious and exemplary of late-90s R&B-pop perfection I cannot help but include it in my list of favorites. YeehawKylie 7,817
26. He’ll Be Back A tense break-up ballad, this song is a stand-out from what is arguably Lopez’s best album Rebirth. A revenge ballad is always a pleasure to listen to, especially when wronged, and He’ll Be Back is the genre at its best.
