At the 2010 VMA's when she revealed the name of BTW the album she refered to it as a record. So she finished the album. I believe its coming this year. Around Christmas, why not??

I think we'll have the album before Christmas. She needs to get those holiday sales.

Yeah if interscope was smart they would release the new album in November preceded Backe a by a huge lea single and a satellite performance at the VMA's. She would easily smash .

She better not hype the **** out of it.

This.

She best have learned. I'm not here for another over-hyped album that fails to meet people's expectations cause they were set to high from all the hype. I LOVED BTW and think it was her best album, but its hype was too much and people's expectations were so high that nothing could have met them no matter how amazing the album could have been.

born this way wasn't crappy (like at all), the hype didn't kill it, everyone's pessimism/close mindedness killed it, and the next record will be just as great if not more, everyone deal and stop the ****ing b---hing...

Guys, some of you all need to be patient. BTW was a long wait, but technically she wasn't supposed to announce the album date and single date until January 2011. the only reason she announced it at the VMA's was because she won Video of the Year. Now she's promised us an album title in September. That doesn't mean she has to release a single before then. (And she's not going to be at the VMA's unless it's via satellite or pre-recorded video. It just doesn't fit her schedule)

I think it should go like this. She'll tell us the title of the album and the single date in September, 1st single November, 2nd Single February. Album March.

I know it seems more likely that she'll have the album out this year, but honestly, she needs to wait until March of next year to put this album out so she'll have more promo time, and era's won't be overlapping majorly.

And she does not need to revamp the tour for the US, I don't care if she has two albums out by the US leg, I still want the BTWB with the BTW songs. I want that experience. I mean of course she'll have the lead single and maybe another single added to the setlist, but re-arranging the tour to fit the new album is stupid. BTWB needs to be for BTW. Next tour next to be for next album.

All I'm really trying to say is that I don't want her to wear herself out. Expecting her to revamp the tour for NA, and promote the new album along with the BTWB is a lot. Therefore the album should be released right after the BTWB ends in March. Then she can focus on promo, and slayage.

In the end though, she'll do what she wants though, and i'll respect it.

Bless this post. I hope to god this is what happens, especially cause I want the FUL BTW Ball experience, and not a re-vamped version with songs from the new album added. Would be no point. It would cause confusion. It'd be called the BORN THIS WAY BALL but would be supporting BTW and the new album? That's just stupid.

The album needs to be released after the tour is finished so she can fully tour BTW, and then go on to fully tour the new album.

born this way wasn't crappy (like at all), the hype didn't kill it, everyone's pessimism/close mindedness killed it, and the next record will be just as great if not more, everyone deal and stop the ****ing b---hing...

BTW did not meet regular people's expectations. It was so over-hyped, and nothing could have met those expectations. Maybe they met our expectations (as fans) but we're biased as is, so of course it did. For casual listeners though, that's not the case. If she hadn't hyped it so much there would have been no high expectations to have been met for casual listeners.

Edge of Glory was indeed the song of the decade though (for me), so Born This Way met my expectations and she can hype the new album as much as she wants as long as she delivers. :hor:

:tea:

I want the hype. It's just not the same without it. :nails:

We have been here before everyone, it was September when Gaga announced her BTW as album title.

And we don't see and hear Born This Way until another ten

months after its title

announcement to actually debut in stores.

So i don't get the hype for November release.

As soon as Gaga annouced the album title then it goes from there.

Many more informations regarding the first single and album might one by one reveal itself after that.

She didn't say it's complete though.

You usually don't play the album for the label reps unless it's done. They aren't going to play some half-done demos and say "this is what the album should sound like, maybe". The point is to get the go-ahead and start planning promo for the material.

Considering she may have been working on this since September 2011, it isn't too far fetched that the record is complete or nearing the final phase.

I hope the hype isn't like BTW, and we the single and album closer to the announcement.
