But now they're quiet because the public is accepting of it. Stances against LGBTQ and gay marriage can no longer be used because it is no longer a power move over minorities. His answer is wack for the reasons that the gentleman gave as a question/challenge to Kaisch. I don't need to hear about his gay friend's wedding... Why was Kaisch so heartless to no allow Americans to live freely and enjoy the BASIC human right that millions share every day. Of course, politicians do have to somewhat move with their party position, but there was also a very obvious shift in public thinking during those years. It was still a big step for Obama to come out and declare his support when he did. Like Obama, Kasich seems to be a person who has a level of moral integrity. I do believe they have considered their positions on policies beyond just what will get them elected.
