Just found this comment that says the repeal is more of a wildlife management issue. I know **** all about bears, hunting, Alaska, how US politics work or even if this comment is true but I thought I'd share it anyway since I thought there might be another side to this story (this was posted by a hunter btw).

"The repeal was of federal regulations that dictated how one state could control it's animal populations, animals not in any way endangered or struggling in that state. Hunters will not be allowed to go shoot a hibernating bear, state wildlife agents might. The US has used a state-management of wild game for decades, allowing each state to tailor their plan of action to the specific conditions in that state. This model can be much more dynamic and quickly adapted to changing circumstances than a national level of control could be. It's what allows certain states to hold wolf hunting seasons while others still don't. It's up to each state's department of natural resources (or fish&game or whatever) to determine the best method of control. If Alaska is seeing signs of higher than desired levels of predators, they're the ones that should decide how to best cull the population. On the other hand, some animals such as migratory birds are managed on both the state and federal levels.

In my opinion this state-centered model has worked very well. It allowed my own state of WI to decide its response to chronic wasting disease on a county-by-county basis. I don't think it's feasible that a federal level of management could have tailored the response in every state so specifically.

Now, whether or not Alaska chooses to use these practices is another issue, but the law dictating how they could was, in my opinion, a federal over reach. Also remember that state wildlife agencies are managing the health of an entire population, not each individual animal. If the overall population of grizzlies/wolves/whatever would benefit from a decreased number of animals, a cull is not immoral (at least in my opinion). How they do it and the ethics of that choice, though, probably falls differently for each person."

Do you feel him sir?

On November 11th of this year, you posted:

"According to many of you, I am a racist, sexist, uneducated, gay hating, deplorable who has caused you to lose faith in America."  "What I can tell you is that I, like many who voted for Trump, am overworked, overtaxed, and quite frankly fed up."

That quote is the exact reason he won and why Hillary lost

And it isn't bad if @TheKillerQueen voted for Trump, there is no such thing as one right choice. It is kind of sad some people (not saying KillerQueen) have to lie about voting for Trump in fear they will be dragged here and will be criticized on this forum just for the freedom of choice. You don't have to agree with who they chose, but you don't have to go around dragging people for who they voted for, Hillary was the worst Democrat ever put up to run

He won because he was a misogynistic, racist, xenophobic homophobe. I agree. That, and the guilable believed a con man.

Yep, it was a lie.

Choices have consequences. These are the consequences of voting for an incompetent man baby.

I know plenty of people who support Trump. They are very nice people. They just don't know all of this, the news never aired this story and doesn't air a lot of things

Choosing to remain ignorant in an age of information is their fault tbh.
