I post an official government document that shows Obama mishandled $500 Billion and no one says anything but insults towards me. Wow, if this was Trump this thread would have 5 pages by now bashing him. Hypocrites

Well it's hard to believe anything you post when a majority is seemingly in favor of Trump. Not to mention you got clocked by several members for one of your last political threads. You didn't even fully read the article you posted that time, lmao. :rip:

The US Development of Housing & Urban Development announced from 2015-2016, the Obama Administration made $516.4 Billion of errors on consolidated financial statements.

"The total amounts of errors corrected in HUD’s notes and consolidated financial statements were $516.4 billion and $3.4 billion, respectively."

Oh this is from Hannity's website: http://m.hannity.com/articles/hanpr-election-493995-493995/dr-ben-carson-finds-half-trillion-15717030/

"The auditors said the massive budgetary problems "were due to an inability to establish a compliant control environment, implement adequate financial accounting systems, retain key financial staff, and identify appropriate accounting principles and policies."

This is plausible, maybe the Obama team was using different accounting rules (GAAP?) and somehow the new admin use different (or the appropriate one)......? Yes, it's possible to have different figures to show up on some items under different rules...

Omg, this came from Hannity? That doesn't surprise me one bit! Last night it was "someone sent me this article from Brietbart". Lol...suuure...:smh:

I love how people assume you support trump for posting an anti Obama article..... How stupid are people?

Gaga Monster was a Trump supporter but as of recently has turned against him due to his inability to hold onto certain campaign promises. That's why some people may be bringing this up.

Can someone clarify specifically what "$516 billion in errors" means?

Does it mean there is $516 billion that is not accounted for? Or that errors made cost the program an additional $516 billion? Or we overpayed by $516 billion? Orrrr....something else?

Also, talk about what the thread is actually about. Whether or not OP is a Trump supporter doesn't matter. Focus on the content, not the person who posted it.

It's an assumption based on the observations that most of us have made about people who spread anti-Obama discourse...they tend to lean right and support trump.

Aren't you in high school?

Most people in this section are in college or have graduated from college. We can certainly all come together to discuss what is going on in the world, but you aren't keeping us informed, as you often report articles that are old, propaganda or are from highly questionable sources.

High schoolers have a lot to bring the table

What I get from all this isn't "Oh wow, Obama is such a bad guy", it's more like "Once again, we have a solid proof all politicians are screwing us up", and yet you are here debating whether Obama or Trump is the better person. Here's a clue : they're all rotten

Yes, they can give their perspective, but they aren't "keeping people informed".

Eh, it depends on who you're talking about. There are plenty of people in college and after college that don't know as much about politics as politically involved teens do.

True, but those who participate regularly in this thread are staying informed on the majority of important issues. Information is at our fingertips, after all. :)

Okay fair enough, but why was bringing up high school necessary when no one is really keeping anyone informed then?
