A big YES!

Everybody wants new music, but I think she needs to start looking for her legacy instead of only momentary succesful singles, and this is a HUGE oportunity.

And also, I love musicals and Gaga's perfect for them. I'm not worried about her acting since it's the music numbers what really matters for this film. Who knows? Maybe this could be a help for her to get to Broadway.

I'm here for everyone and for us to see a traditional Gaga again!

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

I will quote you when she wins an Oscar :) At least for the songs she will get.

For music it might be possible, I'm talking about a best actress award.

She works hard and will prepare to this role. She puts her heart in all her projects. I have faith in her excellence :)

but that's completely different from giving a great acting performance... she also puts her heart into dancing, and she's not a great dancer...

Not great, but she's effective. Same with acting. Sometimes great actors are more heart and charisma than technique. (Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, etc etc)

I'm not sure about this project. There's been several different versions of the same story already so the story isn't going to surprise anybody. I have seen the versions made in the 30s and the 50s and both of them are really great films. Another was directed by William Wellman and another one by George Cukor, both really talented directors. Bradley Cooper, however, doesn't have any previous screenwriting nor directing experience at all, and I highly doubt he would be as good as the other directors I mentioned. Personally I think Gaga is a versatile and talented actress but with this team this film is probably going to be mediocre at best. I'd rather see Gaga just recording new music.

I'd be so here for it if it were her bodyguard.

I mean realistically speaking, there will probably never be another singer that will have a movie/soundtrack nearly as huge as The Bodyguard. But we can still dream right?

how are you sure Bradley Cooper is gonna suck so badly though? No one expected Jordan Peele (the comedian) to be any good at directing/writing but then he made Get Out, the most popular and critically acclaimed movie of the year (and it was his very first movie too). You never really know lol.

Well, true, but these are all actors who've been acting for years before they got really great in their roles. This is Gaga's first movie, so I think the fans are expecting a little bit too much.

I will watch it when it's out.

I am not obsessively following anything that happened during the process.

There are no bar being set. No expectations. But I am hoping it will be good and pave her way in acting job.

Same here tbh!
