If she wanted to release a 3rd single she probably would have released it right after the Super Bowl instead of the JW music video or just release JW as a single and promote it I think she's way too busy filming ASIB to actually release and promote a new single, maybe this summer right before going in tour but not after Coachella imo
StrawberryBlond 14,827
In a world where the public can decide what songs to make successful from an album, single or not, making proper singles seems a bit pointless once the album's been released. Most artists now just try to promote the entire album and release a lot of promo singles. It's one positive thing that came about because of Beyonce's new idea of putting albums out. Now people are more into enjoying the entire experience. I would just love Gaga to promote any of the album right now, on any platform. It's more important that the album sells as opposed to the singles and promotion of any kind will ensure that happens. I think the success of all the songs from Ed Sheeran's new album, especially the runaway success of Galway Girl proves that if you put the music out there, the public will decide, single or not. It's a different game now.

REALITY 76,326
I don't think so, I mean, obviously it'd be nice to have another single, but I think it would have been best to release it after the Super Bowl, then you'd really get people hyped. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

I am not here to force you to adopt my opinion,I am just explaining my point of view. Personally I don't like any songs in Joanne anymore. I called "interesting" the tracks that I find to have some real personality and have an actual direction and aren't simply trying to combine the old Gaga sound with a new country inspired production. I do think, for example, that Angel Down and Hey Girl are interesting tracks. But it is so obvious that the general public would not enjoy them. The only song that I find to be both interesting-well written and general public friendly is MR that is already a hit. But in this case, the song doesn't have to be 'interesting' in your opinion. It's about choosing the song that the GP will eat up the most, to put it bluntly. And in my opinion, it's DIC, for reasons that I couldn't have expressed any more times. Not that I don't find it interesting either. Actually, I also do think Angel Down has some single potential if Gaga doesn't miss a single beat in it's promotion, which might be hard to ask for. It's sound is kinda reminiscent of Ruth B's Lost Boy, and it's message is so very relevant right now. With the right type of promo, exposure and music video, it can get a lot of reaction. At most, a top 40 hit.

True, but she needs to keep her name relevant in the market by constantly having exposure in the GP, so that it will remembered enough until her next project aka A Star Is Born. If anything, that's all singles are for in the market rn.

Sister 9,907
It would be absolutely delightful to get at least one more single from this album and pushing a single after her Coachella performance hype would do very well for us fans, Gaga herself AND her upcoming tour. Please Gaga. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
Jorge Gonzalez Varela 368
Why do not you understand that the era is over? There will be no more singles, she's focused on A Star Is Born and the tour. The Joanne era was only 5 months long and had a single, ARTPOP errors have been repeated. Edit: Or maybe she already has some video recorded and ready to launch as a surprise, but there will be no promotion so it don't care if she releases a new single, this era has been worse than ARTPOP. Here's to our brand new start, I won't be waiting for nothing. I'll mend the broken parts. Pick up the pieces,

They are dated and they sound like her 2011 tracks with more simple melodies and a different country inspired production. This is something that they fans like because it reminds them of the old Gaga but it's not good enough for the radio
