Wait guys I'm confused. Singles have to sell 10 million copies to be diamond certified right? But Poker Face and Bad Romance have sold 7.3 and 5.6 million copies respectively, so how are they certified Diamond? Is it due to streaming?

EDIT: mess they do have diamond certs, Wikipedia didn't show!  That means Queen Gags now has 2 diamonds and JD probs already there after SB! INTERSCOPE UPDATE THE NUMBERS!

If MR sold less tban 145K on biggest market in the world and where SB is huge the following week after SB...

 

Just Dance which only stayed high on itunes for a number of days definitely did not close over a 1M sales gap it needed

SPS! That means sales plus streaming.

Only Just Dance has a chance. In April 2015 it was at 8x Platinum. Since then, it sold 200k copies at least + streaming: it's already at 9x Platinum. Maybe next year, or whenever the **** interscope decides to update her certifications, we will get the 3rd diamond single.
