Million Reasons is a relatable generic ballad. Joanne is too personal. I mean, sure, anyone who's had a loved one die can relate, but lyrically it isn't the same.

Her team really needs to be more careful than ever in choosing the best third single. Hopefully they're doing a lot of testing and research to make sure they choose the right song, because radio could easily drop her again, and the next time will probably be for good

the question is, why exactly did the radio drop Gaga? :neyde:

Back in the day 2013-2014 making fun of Lady GayGay was the fun thing to do, so radio didn't want risk their audience

I think it was more like DWUW got pretty bad callout scores and was selling horribly, so they didn't really give G.U.Y. much of a chance, and then she took a two and a half year break after that to come back to PI which got horrible callout scores and they dropped it almost immediately.

Honestly it's a miracle MR is turning into a fully-embraced radio hit.

and that's not the case anymore because Gaga has gained the GP back. And this led to the radio starting to give Gaga spins on the radio again. Which means, there's nothing really harmful now regardless of the next single they'll release, right? So I'm here for whatever her team decides to do.

ARTPOP and successful don't belong in the same phrase

As much as I'm living for the success rn I don't think I'll ever forgive Gaga's management for screwing up her big comeback with PI :neyde:

So if LOTB gets to top 5 it will be her 14th top 5 this decade and that's with almost a 4 year break between albums.
