I'm here for a conversation, not someone calling names, cussing, and dismissing and entire claim because it doesn't mirror their own. Drugs breed violence and sexual assault and gangs etc. that is a fact, which you refuse to believe Some women are practically slaves to these drug dealers and men too. Just because you enjoy smoking weed and have never seen anybody being sexually abused that doesn't mean that it hasn't happened before you got your bag of drugs. Morphine Prince 109,768
Alcohol ruins so many lives yet it's legal. Alcohol also can influence in sexual abuse, violence, car crashes etc. yet it's legal. Also health consequences including alcoholism. I see the effects of marijuana as less dangerous than alcohol. MJHolland 12,725
Uuuuggghhh leave us the f*ck alone Trump! Of all the sh*t things you've done this week/month, why do you have to niebla attack the thing I do to forget we elected you president 30 minutes ago, TheKillerQueen said: Seen to many lives ruined because of it... It should only be available for people who seriously need it for medical purposes, and not to the people who want it just to get "high". Ok but like I'm not tryna be rude but your circunstancial evidence does not outweight the actually bodies of evidence that show weed is not a gateway drug and it could actually reduce opioid consumption. Opiods and painkillers are actually a HUGE problem in the USA, especially when there is actual evidence showing it increasing the use of heroin. How could you not be in favor of this? It's just so simple it makes my head spin. I think by now the people of GGD know I'm not one to play the race card, but the criminalization of weed was entirely 110% a race issue. There is no way to twist the facts on this; white men made pot illegal because of racism, and people who don't support legalization and decriminalization support that racist sentiment IMO to some extent (most likely because you've been tricked into thinking it's dangerous, not because youre racist in any way). I don't mean to squander your personal experiences and say they're not important. I really feel for you and the people in your life who have been negatively affected. But at the same time I have to say I think you might be misinformed and biased on this.

I do accept the fact that there is rampant crime within drug culture, but that's a result of the circumstance and illegality of the substance, not the substance itself. Perhaps we are arguing two different things here, which is why neither of us are finding a middle ground.

It absolutely blows my mind to think that people like this actually exist Like how do you not see the criminalization of a harmless plant was driven by deepseated racism and not because it's dangerous?
