That was in her hallucinations. Pretty much the entire John Wayne video is a perfect illusion. She sees the guy on the horse ride past her and she imagines living a wild life with him - from the moment we first see Gaga on the horse, it's all a perfect illusion. As to how she went from a studio set to out in the middle of nowhere, I do not know, but I don't think it will explained and I think the next video will take place wherever the road takes her. HEARTSTOP 3,137 Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 I think she just needs a good reason to stay with her old lover, but she's just "sick of his city games", so she starts wondering if it would be better for her to go back to a "wild man" (Judas/John Wayne). But then she remembers how her past dangerous relationships led to her metaphorical death, so she just shrugs it off and keeps it in her past. Basically the whole video is either her past memories, or the hypothetical events that would come with having a dangerous man back in her life. They actually reshot the last shot of the MR video for this! The original MR video ends in a full body standing shot while the one on Jonas' site ends with her sitting on the white box (and her hat has the ribbon I mentioned in my comment above).
