Very few people can rise up from nowhere and just lead the people. They may temporarily ruin their careers, but what point is their careers worth more than, I don't know, saying living in a nuclear wasteland? Though let's be honest here. Shia Lebaouf didn't have much of career in front of a camera since he left Disney. I think he has acted in like a few movies and did a few bit parts? But honestly, I didn't remember his existence until he hit headlines. If I remember correctly, he prefers being behind the camera now. Madonna is Madonna. She lives to spite existence itself. I don't think their reputations will be ruined though. Anyone that's a fan of Madonna's knows that she can get crazy at times. Her standing with the GP might be strained for a few weeks (which seems to be the public's attention span) but I doubt she actually lost a single fan same goes with any other celebrity or artist.
