You just proved my point.

Until he does what he says then I'll make a decision of what I think.

Stop fear mongering lmao.

And he already started doing what he said he would do.

Apparently, being mad at Obama for being "Muslim", "starting racism", and "raising gas prices" is much worse than people getting killed for being who they are.

Sis this is why I'm annoyed. You put words into people's mouth. Since when was any of that relevant to the conversation. Gosh. Who said Trump was going to kill people?

Where did I exactly say he was going to kill people? Do you also believe that all white people are racist too?

EVERYONE is white besides Obama and that one black guy they selected to read something :duck:

Like I don't mean to bring up race, but damn. It's very telling. Maybe it's because I'm from California, but I've never seen such lack of diversity

I thought the exact same thing. It clearly shows what kind of people voted for him: white nationalists. He is the president of white straight people. Every POC or LGBT who voted for him was brainwashed and will regret it very, very soon.

Everyone at my school is concerned. Most classes didn't even play it because it was so sickening.

Impact, I guess. :(

We have to stay strong though.

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

He contradicts himself so much. One minute, he's saying that he wants an all-American workforce and that America should be put first, the next, he's saying America should work with other nations for unity and that we all bleed the same blood regardless of our race. These statements do not match up. If we all are all one, why does he say he wants only Americans to work in America in the same breath? His supporters don't seem to notice this disparity. He said so many bold statements in his speech that he will be held to. If he doesn't do what he promises, his supporters are going to be baying for blood. He has made so made so many claims in that speech of what he will do without question. If it's not done (which I highly suspect), he will look like a fool. That bit he said about "these politicians are all talk and no action, this is the end of empty talk," could be his biggest mistake if he doesn't carry out his promises. He's won this election by selling himself as a man of action. If he doesn't do it, his supporters will lose faith in him. So, that  means he's unlikely to run for a second term and a Democrat will be more likely to be elected in 4 years because people will be so desperate for someone who was the exact opposite of the man who said he'd do it all but couldn't. That's what I'm trying to tell myself anyway.

I also feel for poor Jackie Evancho having to sing. I knew she was one of the earlier choices and didn't hear about whether she'd turned it down or not. From her wobbly performance that doesn't have the warmth that her previous ones have and her serious expression, I have the distinct impression that she was forced into doing this. No doubt her parents wanted the money. If they were willing to put their child on a reality show, they'll likely be money hungry. What a sad mark this makes on a young girl's career. Somebody had to do it and it had to be put on the one who doesn't have a career like the other big name stars.

I love this line, Portman's acting was very lackluster in Star Wars but this line is her best one in the whole 3 movies.

I can't help but wonder how many people actually voted for trump or if people just couldn't stand the thought of a female president. I'll tell you one thing right now, he enacts any laws that prohibit my daughters ability to be herself ,no matter how she chooses to express that, I will be his worst god damn nightmare.

I've thought about that a lot, many people sadly still think that a woman can't be a president.

Did anyone see Donald and Melania's son texting away while the choir sang America the Beautiful. Ohhh... That was great lol.

Well Trump himself is still a child at 70 years so wouldn't expect his child to be well educated.

I think people are acting more outlandish than him at this point. I just think its time to come to terms with the situation. Some of the things going around about Trump are hyped up and unrealistic anyway. Most people voted for Trump out the wanting of change and werent putting the various social issues on the top of their list. That doesn't make them racist or bad people, its just certain people didnt necassarily like Obama (for different reasons). He's there and it may suck but he doesnt have more power than obama, and though republicans are in power there goals are for the best interest of america; not "oh lets take away tons of rights". No. I just think we should all take a step back. The world isnt ending. People just would rather see the worst and find things to get angry about. Just wait and see. I definitley understand backlash during any election, for any reason. But there isnt any defending it at this point.
