Betty White hit 95 today and she's still going strong, doing what she's best known for ... working her butt off in Hollywood.

Sources close to Betty tell TMZ ... she's preparing for a guest spot on the sitcom "Young & Hungry" on Freeform TV. So, instead of relaxing on her bday, we're told she's doing a table read and running around on set. Impressive.

fear causes your testicles to retract. thus, growing balls means gathering the courage to risk getting kicked in the balls.

and this quote has to be one of the most embarrassingly senseless and tasteless comedic attempts that's getting all of its rotten charm from the fact it's that old-ass actress lady that's tuning in from the 50s every once in a while so that we can be reminded of how much we all love her.

slay those quotes and likes tho

Lol what? The phrase "grow some balls" or "grow a pair" clearly refers to masculinity. It means to "man up" because courage has been associated with masculinity for a long time.

The quote is a social criticism of how sexist the phrase is.

maybe. there's a similar phrase in other languages that basically means "get your balls ready". there's also "don't swallow your balls".

lol don't give her so much credit. she's been trying with the lighthearted c u n t comedy ever since she started getting a pass for old age. it basically made her.

even if the phrase doesn't have the same origins in English, I'm still not "completely" wrong since the quote doesn't make perfect sense either way. it sounds forced and ugly.

the only reason I might sound pressed is because "everyone loves Betty White" which is precisely my problem here. and I don't take anything that seriously so I'm not afraid of having a problem and being "pressed" for a second there.
