It's that same ignorance that has led to a Puerto Rican woman who has African, Indian and White ancestry saying she is stealing from blacks. I asked to question because I wanted to see what the users reply was going to be and it was just as ignorant as I thought it was going to be.

It's okay if you don't like Mariah but to say she's not talented is pretty ignorant. Just because you lip sync doesn't mean it takes away your other talents. Celine lip synced a few times are we going to say she's not talented too? What about the queen of pop and the king of pop who have both lip synced. Are they not talented too?

And I dont know why you need to bring Gaga into this thread. Like I get it its her forum but in the outside world she's an easy target. She sucks at guitar and uses it as a prop. She's not that good of a dancer. To say that Gaga is talented and Mariah isn't is pretty arrogant and I know for damn sure Gaga will agree with me. Gaga dislikes lip syncing but yet she still attends britney spears concerts and praises michael jackson. Mariah Carey writes her own songs since her debut album. She is heavily involved in her music moreso than Gaga in her own. Mariah can still hit higher notes than Gaga. I know because she sang live at my show 2 weeks ago. Mariah and Gaga are both supremely talented but also different from each other. Both vocally talented and write their own music and even co produce. Gaga plays the piano and Mariah reads music and composes different structures of the production of each song on her album.

You must be talking about a different Ashanti because the one I'm talking about is black. Google it. J.Lo is most likely bi-racial or tri-racial like most latinos. Her own mother Guadalupe even said Jlo never had intercourse with him. I don't believe them. Mariah's team said she did soundcheck and it was messy, they didn't give me a reason to not believe them.

And what's up with the silly excuses? Her earpiece was not working. Mariah has no problem singing Emotions, she's been singing that song all year every night with no problem, it's impossible that she would just forget the words. And i've said it before but the dancers don't need the music to follow the choreography so her point is invalid. 

There is no exposure or clapback here, it's just them making up excuses to save their ass because ''we work so hard!!!!!!!!!111!!''. 

By the way, ''We Belong Together'' has now been certified 3x Platinum in the US and is the 4th most watched mv at the moment in the same country! Isn't that amazing for someone whose career is over?

Her paternal grandfather was cuban and venezuelan though and he was an AFRO latino. Her paternal great grandfather was white but her paternal grandmother was black. Mariah's dad was a predominately  black man

 

And Mariah herself calls herself a black woman.
