I think's its okay if it's already been widespread I guess  I can't judge anyone, even a mod, when I always listen to leaks and ask for them myself.

I've always have been annoyed that whenever something big happens we have to be all hush hush about it and hope and pray that someone PM's you the snippet while everyone else is already discussing it. I can understand for legality problems, but the content is still being spread on the website, just privately.

It's fine if it's a demo or a song that isn't new material, in my opinion. The only people who lose anything from old leaks are the people who are trading it and they understand that "risk" already.

Legally it's a bit of an awkward one but unless it's new material, record labels don't really care it seems.
