Worldwide Sales Joanne — 26,000 (870,000 total)

Can someone give me the total Youtube streams from last week so I can estimate the pure sales?

This week and last week are sps. It sold 811 in pure sales and now we have 870k with two weeks of sps. This is a mess. They really should add the sps to all albums charting in 2017.

This is complete bullshit. If she doesn't want success then why the hell did she do countless radio interviews and extensive worldwide promo?

Not caring about success doesn't mean not promoting, it means not compromising your artistic integrity just to get a cute hit.

I mean it is obvious but for some reasons a couple of fans still cannot figure it out.

Caring about success doesn't mean you have to compromise your artistic integrity either.

I'm so sick of excuses like "well she clearly doesn't care about commercial success anymore so it's fine if she flops". She's signed to a major label and she needs the success to fund her projects. She went to many radio stations to promote her song and sent gifts to DJs. Don't tell me that she doesn't give two f***s because she clearly does, and it has NOTHING to do with sacrificing one's integrity or not.

I still don't think you get the point here. When Gaga makes a song or an album, let's focus on Joanne for example, she is all-in when it comes to promotion. But because she made it and she believes in it. So of course she would care if the radios play her songs or don't, she wants people to hear the music, and she does the ww promo because of her ww fans. Why wouldn't she?

But to have a "hit song", it is definitely NOT enough to just do promo and do radio interviews. It's totally different when Gaga releases a song that's like PI when there is literally nothing like that on the radio + when she releases a country/pop/rock album, when everyone is expecting bubble gum pop from her.

So you see, those are two different things, and it's just how she wants to lead her career now. It might change after this album, we can't know, but I don't think it will change.

Again, read this. It is all you need to get the point.

Gypsy Life

If Gaga desperately wanted a hit, she would've hopped on the tropical house trend like Ed Sheeran, Sia, Bieber, & other sellouts, which obviously isn't the case. :reductive:

Like, it is obvious. I don't know why people don't get it.
