If gaga was offered to perform in the super bowl half time show in any other era, what era would you want the show to take place in, since gaga was in a different artistic place in every era and every era had its own visuals and theme we can assume the stage and show would look diffrent each era

(ignore the fact that in each era some songs would not have been performed cuz they didn't exist yet)

Considering you said the songs aren't necessarily a factor I'd say Born This Way.

I think her creative team during TFM was objectively stronger but the visual aesthetic of BTW as a whole has always been my absolute favourite. Thinking about a halftime show on that scale in the theme of BTW is very exciting to me.

The fact NFL asked her after hearing Joanne makes me want to say Joanne but the aesthetic of the Born This Way album would have slayed so hard

It's interesting to look back on the visual and sonic aesthetic of Born This Way. Like, I know a lot of it is 90's gay club, alienistic haute couture, eurotrash BDSM dungeon influenced, but a lot of it is also distinctively very Americana at heart.

If I had to use a really contrived metaphor, it's like Joanne's older liberal arts major sibling who frequents classic rock-based gay dive bars.

Now that would have been incredible to see on the SB stage.

3 points in and ready for more
