kevinthesheep 2,947 Posted December 6, 2016 Share Posted December 6, 2016 I am well and truly shook here's why: When perfect illusion first came out, I thought it was satan, like one of the worst songs i'd ever heard. The day it came out i actually cried because i thought the album was going to sound just as horrible as i thought PI was. I hated the stupid lyrics, her accent, the instruments were too loud, the song didn't go anywhere. I still gave it a chance, I listened to it on repeat in hope that it would grow on me, but it didn't. Then million reasons & the album were released and i fell in love with all the other songs and completely forgot about PI. I deleted it off the album because i was so repulsed. But here's the part that has me shook. PI (the single) came on shuffle today and I literally can't stop listening to it. It has gone from literal satan to possibly my top 5 on the album?!?! Haroon 49,685 Posted December 6, 2016 Share Posted December 6, 2016 "It has gone from literal satan" I cracked up Yeah it's weird how you listen to a song and don't feel it at all, but then one day you hear it and it suddenly clicks I think I've been having that experience with Million Reasons lately, just not as extreme As in it was okay when I first heard it (but I did think it was a bit boring ) but with all of these great performances lately it's grown on me like a beautiful fungus Glad you're enjoying Perfect Illusion also I'm not crazy about that song but when I hear it after a gap of not hearing it then I totally feel the power and how it automatically injects you with so much energy Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The rest of the album provides a range of material that can help train your ear to appreciate PI. DH and JW are also rock at the core. As is Ayo, albeit more of a 60's mod rock vibe.
