The fans still love her. She has gained new fans with Joanne even though some have gone because they don't like her new direction. The song was #1 on iTunes because people liked it, yet she stopped promoting it, didn't send it to radio quick enough and the video is literally taking like more than a month to come out. She delays everything so much and then wonders why the GP has moved on to other things. The Joanne singles have so far been poorly executed and it seems Joanne won't have a hit single to it.
