The Democratic Party died today. Here's hoping the 2020 democratic nominee is a progressive candidate who can energize the party and generate enthusiasm. Hell, Bernie should run again. But I would prefer Elizabeth Warren.

Positive sides of this election:

- I expect Gaga to officially become Dutch citizen (like she promised she would in case Mitt Romney won in 2012)

- We have a new reason to stay away from fascism for the next hundred years or so after Trump's failed presidency, just like how Hitler made jews become a protected minority in our society.

- We'll have four years of economic decline so we can finally debunk the myth of economic growth thanks to conservative economics.

Negatives:

- injustice.

Is HRC actually going to jail like he promised??? Can HRC reach a settlement? Can she flee to my home?

I don't know why they won't call it. Even if Hillary were to get PA back, which is extremely unlikely, Donald would win from the other states. Hillary real only chance is absentee ballots in close states.

Ignoring those things is just gross

oh please. As if you can't be a good president and have a different view on immigration.

The women comments are based on a leaked tape that's 10 years old :rip:

What's so bad about Mitt? He seemed like a decent fellow. He's also one of the only Republicans who refused to support Trump at any point, despite all the pressure.

Stop with blaming 3rd party voters and Bernie supporters. DNC got what they deserved. It's heartbreaking that minorities will suffer under a republican administration .

However, people should never be forced to have to vote for the lesser evil in order to prevent someone else from becoming president. People want to vote for the correct choice, someone like Bernie. Stop treating them like fools and expecting them to toe the party line. These people probably opted to not vote or vote for a 3rd party. I hope this serves as a lesson to the DNC.

I appreciate the optimism, but I seriously doubt anyone will draw a parallel between Trump and any kind of economic downturn. Any problems will be "Obama's fault," even though Bush wasn't blamed for all the turmoil during Obama's presidency. ~~Conservative Logic~~

Republicans kept the majority in the Senate and House of Representatives.
