It's true. I was pretty desvastated because we had like 15 million points with 20k 'members', while Justin had like 12M points with 30k 'members' and 1D 8 million points with 50k 'members. They only did it because of ratings - understandable but then don't show how close it is. Gaga was supposed to win that award.

BUT they learnt from their mistakes. The next year the Biggest Fans award went to Tokio Hotel  that means that they actually went with the award with the most votes rather than the award that would get the show the best ratings (JB or 1D).

 

This year Gaga is winning Best Look (correct?) for sure and if she keeps it up Biggest Fans is also a possibility - only problem is that JB is quickly catching up. Compared to the picture in the post above JB has won 90k extra votes while Gaga has won only 70k more votes.
