To this day "Hair" is one of the few songs that makes me cry every time I hear it. It was like Gaga read my diary when she wrote that song. All of my life, I just wanted to be loved for who I am. People just see the tattoos and my dark sense of humor and they shut down because they don't understand. BTW came out in a really (and I mean really) dark time in my life. It was like I was treading water desperately trying to keep my head above the water. I was ready to quit treading and just let go because it felt like I had nothing left to live for. Gaga "rescued" me with this album and promised she would always be there to catch me when I fell. I knew she loved her monsters but it was this album that made me realize how deep that love really runs. Even to this day, it still makes my heart melt when she showers us in hugs when she sees us because it's a reminder of how deep our bond really is I love you monsters. BTW (not one single song I CAN'T bop to tbh plus the feelings I have the the album and where I was in my life when it came out lol) 2. Joanne (it just feels so authentic and I feel so honest when I listen to it? idk it makes me think of the music I grew up listening to with my parents) 3. ARTPOP (fun album full of danceable songs but it for me doesn't have much substance) 4. The Fame (nostalgic af for me) 5.
