Do you think Hey Girl can become a hit?

The outro is just so dreamy, which imo makes it pretty memorable. Florence adds even more to the track also so I hope they can make a groovy MV for it too :queenga:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

It's a good song - there's more up Joanne's sleeve though

I don't think so :awkney:

It's a bit boring, radios would never play it. The reason why it's not doing bad on iTunes is because of the featuring. :poot:

I find it pointless to have recorded a duet without releasing it. I think she will either release it or  promote it somehow.

Yes. Its a cute song with a good, simple msg. Its not a smash but its definitely single worthy and could do moderately well just by the name recognition of two big female singers.

It also has gaga doing more feminine, radio friendly vocals which will make the GP like it. Alot of the negative reaction to PI was to do with how screamy and loud the vocals were. Someone I played it too said she sounded like a dog :saladga:

Definitely not. It's only charting because it's a collab. It's a weak and uneventful song.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

2016 has been the year of boring music on the radio hunny. Perfect timing :ladyhaha:

Help me hold my hair back
Walk me home 'cause I can't find a cab
And we dance down The Bowery
Held hands like we were 17 again

What makes “Hey Girl” work, despite all this, is that instead of simply telling listeners that successful women can be supportive friends, Gaga shows it—throws a groovy party for that revelation, really. She weaves her voice together with Flo’s atop relaxed-fit space-funk that benefits from Welch’s signature harp/strings and the start-stop pacing of “Bennie and the Jets.” Their voices sound different but ultimately better together than they do alone, which is the entire point: This is feminist shine theory on pop’s main stage, Lenny Letter in song form. “We don't need to keep on one-in’ up another,” Gaga declares confidently in the chorus. “If you lose your way/Just know that I got you,” Flo counters.

YES, it should eventually be a single, maybe it should be her last single from this album.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I'd say no but I didn't think 'Million Reasons' would take off either. There's no way of knowing what the GP will resonate with. It's a great song regardless.
