The title is "Joanne: Gaga's deep soul"

He praised the album to heaven, saying is choesive and it sounds nothing like anything that's on the radio right now, the fact that she displays her raw voice and so on.
He says Million Reasons it's her BEST SONG to date.

Italy is here for Joanne. Slay a bit.

Curioso di leggere Corriere della Sera

Curious to read Corriere della Sera :diane:

This album has the right sound for Italy. All the major magazine I read were totally there for her toned down version and I'm pretty sure they will like this one (ARTPOP was dragged to hell in Italy)

I don't really agree that Joanne is all that cohesive, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons don't sound like they are by the same artist let alone on the same album, the same could be said about the song Joanne and Dancing In Circles.

I guess her raw vocals tie everything together, and Mark's great production, but I'd still wouldn't say it's a cohesive album. It's extremely diverse in it's influences and sounds, which is why she can be in Rock Star drag one week and Cow Girl drag the next.

Being choesive means that the songs fit all together in the album.
Being influenced by different sounds it's another thing, which is actually said in the article.

These autors say that Joanne has country, dance, rock, funky, influences but the overall production made all of them come together as a one big choesive album.

Exactly, but it's Gagz vs. Italy we are talking about, so I don't get my hopes up too much lol

Right, and I don't think it's very cohesive. Musically it's all over the place, Perfect Illusion sounds like a Tame Impala b-side, A Million Reasons sounds like it would fit on a Kellie Pickler record, and Just Another Day sounds like a Beatles song. Lyrically I don't know if there is much cohesion either, she jumps between hyper sexual, ultra personal, and social criticisms. Then you have the visuals, there is hardly cohesion between the soft feminine album cover and the single art that features her in a masculine pose with doc martins and a dirty shirt.

It's a pretty diverse album in every way, which is fine, cohesive just wouldn't be the first word I use to describe Joanne.
