If I'm really depressed I'll go back to Evanescence's album The Open Door, and just wallow in songs like these:

But that is really rare these days :P

Sometimes I listen to Gaga's acoustic performances where she bares her heart, and just think about what she's feeling and what I'm feeling, like this:

But sometimes I don't want to wallow! If it's a combination of sad and frustrated I usually listen to the Born This Way album to make me feel uplifted and powerful! The whole thing. Often Marry The Night. And I'll think hard about the songs meaning. Life and death. Making life meaningful. Carpe diem. Memento mori. Usually just the audio because in those emotional moments the visuals are distracting :P I know you've heard it, but...

And even though I'm not very good, singing makes me feel better! Always!

I'll be myself until they fƫcking close the coffin.

They have a lot of good rock/ballad songs that are perfect for the winter time or when you're feeling down tbh :diane:

Yes! My old favs before Gaga. Strange transition, I know lol. I don't listen to them very often any more, but during winter I always get that urge. The Open Door is one of my top albums because it has been so important to me and my life in the past! It holds a special place in my heart   I still remember every backing vocal and scratch and noise in every song.

Edit: I was obviously a very depressed teenager :laughga: but that was like 8 years ago.

I'll be myself until they fƫcking close the coffin.
