Over-listening to the snippets will ruin the album

This happens literally every album. All it is doing is setting up expectations for the people doing this. There is still a full 2.5 minutes (at least) of these songs you haven't heard yet, which are likely going to be completely different than you're expecting. I can see now all the threads saying how disappointed people are with this or that song because they thought it would be different, but that's their fault.

For those that continue to listen to the snippets, just try to go into the album with an open mind. Your favorite and least favorite song may be completely different than you're expecting.

I don't think it would ruin the album but it could potentially make it underwhelming if someone forms an idea about the song's progression prior to actually hearing it, the whole experience could be ruined. But that's not necessarily everyone.

I agree. I've played the snippets twice and I've watched her dive bar set twice. I'm waiting for the album to listen to the songs again.

Agreed. I've literally listened to them all twice, some of them three for the sake of a reply to a thread. I won't listen to any of the songs now until we get full and HQ.

For me, the snippets really just confirmed that I'm going to like the sound of the album. I'm still preparing to be pleasantly surprised by the full tracks but the snippets made me a lot more hyped.

I absolutely agree although i don't think i will ever like Grigio Girls.  I hope to be proven wrong.

This is true. I think most people will still like the album, but it has the potential to make it less special.

I don't think those LQ 30-second-long snippets are that powerful

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I quite agree. I've listened to the snippets many times for two days but now I'm trying to delete the melodies in my head.

If 3 min songs get tarnished when overplayed, why won't a 30 sec snippet?
