Hello

I have been a Gaga fan for sometime just like following her since i first heard just dance. I always come here and read the post just to catch up. But now i just feel hurt not by the fans but by Gaga her self

This is the first time i felt the need to create an account and comment. I just feel so sad to see what is happening i know Gaga is free to do what she wants but actual i have looked at her actions and have come to realize she is just not the same. She seems to have this ego about her and it showed during the ARTPOP era. This is Gaga issue her ego, she need to really listen to her fans eveyone want her to create a new hit and be her self. The old and new producers make it clear Gaga is in control and that is the problem, that is why we are hearing unfinished songs being passed as lead singles. Just Dance was a hit because Gaga wrote and sang it not produced it. Gaga tries to be a producer and actress she is not she is just a singer song writer. She tries to do other things and dont get me wrong has some level of sucess but it is just average.

I am really tired of hoping and wanting  Gaga to just listen to her fan base. I stood by through all the eras and maybe now i have decided to stop following her. I am just tired of wasting all this hope, i have decided to move on to someone else and that is taylor swift or katy perry. I am just tired with Gaga and her finding her self with this ARTPOP the jazz album and now this PI thing... please gaga when you get your ego out of your way only then will you be able to grow her fan base. If you are not writing for the charts that is great but at least make good music that people want to here.

I just feel so fustrated at gaga i just cant believe it over 3 years waiting and this is what happens Gaga will soon blame her record company of some thing else... eŕrrrrrrr i just cant anymore

What is the point of releasing music if Gaga will not be in control. Her fans shouldn't dictate what she releases.  Also, what about PI sounds unfinished?

Is in Gaga's nature to try out new things though. Also why are you repeating your post?

Everyone brace themselves for likely a colossal flop with Joanne. Not being negative just realistic. The GP just ain't interested in this chapter going by PI failure on iTunes and now radio starting to drop her too. What happened? When did it all go so horribly wrong? Why is the GP full of praise for crap like Titty Perry Titney spears an old Hagdonna then so indifferent to Gaga? Frustrating.

^ THANK YOU. I wish more so-called "fans" would be happy that she's doing what she loves instead of obsessing over how much of a "flop" the Joanne era is gonna be, all because she's no longer trying to make hits or convert her image to something that appeases the masses.

Gaga is constantly reinventing herself. If whatever new image she has doesn't suit what you wanna see/hear, then tough luck.

I feel like the Joanne era was not made for the charts. Gaga is simply not aiming for top hits or top albums with this era. And is not like she was specifically aiming for top hits during the previous eras but this statement applies to Joanne more than ever. To me, it seems like Gaga simply wants to make the music that she wants. She really wants to tell her story this time around. And the result is music that is great, but not necessarily radio friendly or trendy. Now, she is promoting her music because she wants her music to be heard and because she has obligations from her label to do so. But it is quite obvious that Gaga lives in her own artistic world and not in the mainstream world.

for that reason she'll got Grammys Emmys or Oscars, I know she wants it, she dont care about charts, but she gives a lot attention for lifetime achivement awards

I think this was the album she wanted to do instead of ARTPOP and that's why ARTPOP wasn't the best era, because her heart wasn't really in it.

Last I checked, Britney's new single wasn't doing too hot... and Madonna hasn't had a proper hit in almost a decade lol, they seem to be still trying to make music that appeals to the charts, which is why I admire Gaga and always have bc she's taking a different route and forging her own path.

Katy is only popular bc she literally serves the same dish each and every time, and never changes. It's always cutesy metaphors made to be about sex or vague empowerment anthems and the GP eat it up bc it fulfills their basic tastes and doesn't really challenge them in any way. Same with Taylor, except she adds a layer of shade that appeals to those who devour the tabloids. They both have hit after hit, and Taylor is showered with Grammys. But place them both next to Gaga on a stage and she can literally melt their faces off vocally, it's hardly a competition. The talent is always there whether it's dressed in meat or bubbles, and talent will outlast 'safe' in the end.

❤ x ❤

because its all us freak monsters who love and listen to it, the gp usually stay away from her which is annoying.

this album will be her "4" (by Beyonce) most likely. it had a under-performing lead single, and the era "flopped" in general, but it still became her most acclaimed album (at the time) and she was still highly respected as an artist and musician. "Perfect Illusion" is like Gaga's "Run The World", its not at all supposed to be a huge pop radio hit or "trendy", its just her being an artist and releasing whatever type of music that she wants at the moment.

The 'Joanne' era has literally just begun. I do not understand the hysteria surrounding 'Perfect Illusion' and it's reception - it's actually being received quite well. Hopefully it grows chart-wise. Joanne will go #1, obviously.
