In the US she is performing as The Greatest, that has been released three days before, had a HUGE Promo thanks to the Apple event and has a Video already out, a powerful one with a strong message. (and Sia hasn't all the Guns pointed at her every time she does something, she is quite popular these days.) PI is not as Commercial Pop as The Greatest, and I am going to repeat it a billion time if it is necessary: It is not a "Mistake", Gaga was perfectly aware of what kind of song she was releasing, this is not "Pop" as Applause was, it can't sell as much, let alone Poker Face or Bad Romance. Talking about Applause, it hasn't been a Flop, it sold well, it stayed it the Top 10 longtime (if I remember well), it hasn't been a "Smash Hit". I think PI is going to do the same. Or not, we'll see. Anyway, personally I never thought it was going to sell more than 100k honestly. This is not a song for everybody, and strange as it may seems, a lot of persons I know don't even know she released a new song yet, with no Clip and a little promo on radios in the UK and no TV.
