I found Fever at a low, low price of $3.99 at a local CD/DVD store the other day. So amazing. :legend:

Fever is a really good album, but it does get a bit samey.

I think Body Language is much more varied than Fever. You have smooth stuff (After Dark), upbeat electronic (Still Standing, Secret) and ballads (Loving Days). Slow is just in a league of its own. Fever has that same house feel to every track, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think BL gets a lot of sh*t, it's really good imo

other than slow, still standing, and chocolate the rest of the album just sounds like 2003-pop filler to me lol

but to be honest i dont think theres any kylie album that i like from start to finish. theres hardly an album i like from start to finish in general though so im pretty harsh

fever contained come into my world, love at first sight, cant get you out of my head, and love affair which i just love more than the 3 songs i liked from body language. so thats why i prefer it.

Well I guess that's where we disagree lol, i can listen to all of her albums all the way through with the exception of a few tracks

The deadline for people to submit tracks to Kylie's A&R is May 6th. I'm so excited

With Britney and Xtina, I tend to listen to their GH collections even though I have their studio albums. With Kylie, it's the opposite, the studio albums are stellar. Especially everything since Impossible Princess, With Madonna, I'm somewhere in the middle.

Body Language may be her weakest Parlo album, but it's still unique sounding. Different from British dance pop or American R&B of the period. Her strongest albums as a whole are the more varied ones, like Light Years and X.

X is great, however disjointed it may be. When I hear the b-sides/unreleased tracks/submitted demos, I do get a little upset. All I See and Heart Beat Rock really could've been axed in favor of two other songs

Thank you.  :)

So when will people get to hear this new sound? "That's the $64,000 question," she says.

"This year – I'm hoping sooner rather than later. Is that vague enough?"

I don't really like Heart Beat Rock, but All I See is AMAZING how dare you.

I honestly would have replaced Heart Beat Rock with Carried Away or Cherry Bomb on the regular tracklisting.

All I See is a decent R&B song, but a really disappointing as the US single choice for X, since it was such an obvious attempt to blend in with the tired, mainstream radio sound of 2007, instead of featuring Kylie as something different, a dance artist just as dance was about to become really popular again.

Apparently there was quite a single debate at Kylie's US label, and the most conservative, backward looking choice won over 3 songs that made top 10 UK and had decent videos (including one Calvin Harris produced), and fan fave Speakerphone by Britney's fave producer Bloodsy & Avant.
