No. Come on. Every song that Gaga does does NOT sound like Madonna. That is just not fair. It somewhat sounds like a sort of eighties song that Stevie Nicks would sing, but it's not completely a style that Stevie Nicks would engage, it's a bit more bubblegum than a Stevie Nicks would make it and that is where it sounds like a complete Lady Gaga song. It has an edge to it that is totally Stevie Nicks.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

The only other songs that sound remotely like any madonna songs (to me) are born this way (express yourself) and the bridge of dance in the dark (vogue)...  I don't understand what you mean by it not being fair. I'm not doing this out of spite i love gaga more than anyone in the world... I'm just making a perfectly valid observation that many people have already made.

Genuinely heard the same thing the first time I heard it haha. It's hardly a copy though, so don't come quoting me as if I'm trying to drag her.

Maybe that comparison is due to how Gaga and Madonna have this perfect brand of sugary bubblegum pop that exceeds all others and when you hear these two reigning females of pop, it's instant and uncompromising. It's more in the feeling of the songs as you hear them and it dominates over the entire song collection of both.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
