Gaga in super elaborated photoshoot with "five swans flying out of her butt to symbolize rebirth after a shitty situation"

Lady Palutena

The official cover--there's a side of her we haven't seen in a while, the fun, rockstar rebel from the Born This Way Era. I get rock vibes from both the official art and yours, which is beautiful by the way.

Well, I like music based mostly on melody and key it seems, so we'll see come September 9th.

I actually think I would of preferred the picture with her whipping the microphone, but I love both photos. They're so FUN and different and I love your edit :hor:. I just hope the actual album cover is a bit more polished and official.

I understand peoples concerns about the lack of avant garde gaga, because I'm also still kind of adjusting to this side of Gagz. I think it's very reasonable for people to be upset by this.  A good example is Gaga herself said she could never not wear heels in public because her fans would have a meltdown; Gaga herself knew how important her image was to her fans. Some people are handling Gagas change of persona better than others. I'd say probably most people became a fan of Gaga became a fan of hers when she was very over the top and eccentric. It makes sense to be upset that this has image of Gaga has been fading away slowly. We had no idea what to expect with this era, and this is our first official glimpse. It's important to realize that the people who are upset by this single cover can still love and appreciate Gagas growth as an artist, but just need time to adjust.

Swan Heart

It's a really drastic change so it's natural that many will be put off, but from what I saw most fans love it. I guess we are quite open-minded as a fanbase.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Yes, she is holding a microphone. Something that a certain HP mascot, who failed to impress at the VMAs, this year, cannot do.

Does that mean it's "rock"? No. Does that mean Gaga is having fun? Yes.

Should we be disappointed, because she's having fun? No. That's awfully selfish, and where things went wrong, many times before.

We haven't even heard the song yet, and we're shooting it down. Put on ya big boy and big girl pants and get what you get & don't throw a fit.

(Is she wearing underwear? :laughga:)

If some of you are that uncomfortable with the artwork, I tried to make an alternative one, if you guys would like to use it.

Tried to flow it into a collection, I made earlier. Inspired by Mark Ronson's "Uptown Special" artwork.

Saint Laurent

Honestly for me it's not really the look that bothers me. Would I have preferred this with a heel and a better wig? Sure. What bothers me is that it just looks like it was thrown together without a single ****. Like seriously, were there no pictures with a better angle?

The GP do not care about Gaga single covers, that's something that she used to make special for us the fans, and I just feel so let down that she couldn't be bothered to take the time to do a proper photoshoot with some better shots.

:laughga: It's the same woman who rocked impact font for about 2 eras

:laughga: true, but still she should have known how to change it

(looking by how she doesn't even know the difference between a vine and GIF, joking aside)

It's better than most of the trash visuals rom ARTPOP (uh the DWUW cover?)

thats the thing, i feel like she kind of lost any sort of aesthetic for that album-it started off so clean cut, yet fresh and edgy in its own simple way, then it just got really random, gaudy, and then cool and ravey, then classy, then idek....

id rather she have a consistent way of presenting her work than have it be something really out there and cool one day, then one day not at all the same idea, and it just feels 'off'

There's nothing iconic about it and her imagery has always been so iconic, it's so upsetting to me, as a fan of 8 years.

like i told someone else in another thread: nothing is instantly 'iconic'. it will seem that way to people who already like it, and not to people who don't. we don't know if something will be iconic or not, and we haven't even heard the song yet. what if its really amazing, and it shows a giant leap ahead for gaga and her career, and we look back on the simplicity, and sense of freedom in this image and reminisce? you don't know that it's not iconic yet.

I think the song will be amazing, but I just sense a general lack of care in this cover I really do. How could somebody capable of this:

lady-gaga-e28093-born-this-way-official-

produce this new single cover.
