Just Dance and Poker Face were all around the country in 2008 but many people didn't start really noticing until Paparazzi. By Bad Romance, literally everyone I know is hooked or at least interested. At that point we have been scouring youtube for her performances and videos. Radio played her all day all night at least twice within the hour. Computer rental shops would play her over the shouts and swearing of DotA players and everyone would sing along. Men who got drunk in the streets would sing her choruses.
