A Dance track that makes people cry

Y&Y described their album as music that you can cry and dance to at the same time tumblr_m7wusejA2Z1r17mw1.gif

and they heard it just once and they were humming it all day tumblr_m7wvejwWNX1r17mw1.gif

Ugh. I am with the ones who don't want to have to wait. It seems like Gaga is the only artist that does stuff like this... Announces a single at least a MONTH in advance. I just think it's a terrible way to do things. Most artists announce a single days before not weeks / a month before. What is even the point? Sure, she's going to hype it and then she ends up setting the bar so high that critics are like "We waited this long for THIS?" and then they unjustly criticize the song in ways that no other songs are.

Taylor Swift doesn't do stuff like this. She literally gives it a week or less. Adele doesn't do this. Katy Perry only does it because Gaga does it.

Gaga's music does not need weeks of hype to be successful. She should have announced it on a wednesday and released it on a Friday. I trust Bobby and I trust Gaga but c'mon ya'll? The hype hype hype single hype hype hype promo single hype promo single hype hype hype album tactic is getting tired. For crying out loud people have been thirsty- when TIHTY charts on the DANCE / CLUB CHARTS (a song a bout rape for gods sake) do you really find int necessary to hype for weeks????

Well to be fair September is coming in two weeks which isn't horrible, and that radio station said to expect new Gaga music in 30 days which would be by September 2nd so hopefully the wait isn't as long as a month. It might impact radio later however

I'm really hoping they aren't, and that it's that good, but otherwise, I'm gonna be pissed.

Right here, excited as ever. Rumors were just as prevelant this month as they were in April/March, I regret nothing.

I'm hoping it's one of those songs with an emotional ear worm during on of the verses

Omg we haven't even heard it guys :rip: It could literally suck ass

Okay, no

She did that with Jewels N' Drugs :emma:

I still remember the mess album of the decade caused. Great album, too much HYPE.

Ok first than all: IT'S MY OPINION!

Ok, of course I know we have not heard it yet, but I'm just being positive, + gaga has been nominated for ROTY before with Poker Face, and Mark Ronson won that award 2 times before (with Rehab and Uptown Funk #Current Winner) + another nomination for Locked Out of Heaven.

so far we don't have pretty serious contenders for the category, maybe just Adele with Hello, the rest is just too weak, so why not to have some positivism for once and have good expectations?

It might be your opinion, but all you have is hype and a name. It could still suck ass, that's not negative, it's realistic. Gaga makes great music, but everyone has their hiccups.

the Iheart radio article that came out yesterday said this:

"Shortly after the appearance, Gaga took to social media to announce the single, which is scheduled to drop in mid-September."

september is such a boring month, nothing good happen on september, no awards, nothing, just festivals, and she is not even announced for any

I agree that she shouldn't wait for a long time between announcing and actually releasing stuff, it doesn't really work in her favor, but yeah I think it will be pretty much released in the first days of September, and that's really close!

Hopefully, they have something planned until then, something to keep the focus on the single

September is a great time for radio play and tv shows, though. Everyone is back in school and are through with their vacations and summer off schedule season. People are back on a schedule, so radio play is up during the drive times. Also, people are back to watching morning shows and nighttime shows are coming back to new seasons...including SNL. Also, the Olympics will be over. Post Labor Day is an excellent time to drop a single!

Some of you are tragic. You cry and moan about Gaga not saying anything but ALWAYS complain when she does...September is like 2 weeks away, relax for Christ sake

I mean, I'm just as excited as everybody else. But this release tactic didn't work for Applause and it's just not how artists release music nowadays.

The wait is too long. What if the outcome is disappointing? It'll have even more backlash for that reason.

She should've announced it for Friday 26th August and performed at the VMAs on the 28th.

Or at least wait until after VMAs to announce. A way of softening the blow for not performing.
