craig 680
4. NICKI MINAJ - Starships: 129.710 (+ 0.133) I guess Starships really are meant to fly. i give up, lol. this is her 8th hit from an album. i think she's really the top pop b---h right now, after adele. No, she decided that since more people wouldn't buy her album, she'd just sell them each track individually.

Americano 31,061
In the US, KP is arguably bigger than LG. Album sales aren't far off, more radio play, more single sales, and bigger videos as of late. She also doesn't do bad with awards here.
Klou 2,414
wtf Justin. His voice. It's back That's what I was thinking! He sounds like 16 year old Justin again :toofloppy: In the US, KP is arguably bigger than LG. Album sales aren't far off, more radio play, more single sales, and bigger videos as of late. She also doesn't do bad with awards here. We'll see how they compare when it comes to touring ;)
Americano 31,061
Worldwide Gaga is much much bigger than Katy, but locally not so much was my point. Btw, I loved Boyfriend but that new Bieber song is terrible. So whiny and annoying.

I agree that she's the queen of US radio ... but I don;t think she can rely on that forever, every sound gets tired. Lots of acts would have had 2 or 3 solid albums on the backs of that many singles..

Americano 31,061
Now I make a joke at Katy's expense and you stand up for her, LOL. Katy is a joke talent wise and she has no cultural impact, but looking at numbers strictly in the US, Gaga fans can't try to minimize her success. heavymlover 340
Y U don't get tired of Katy, US? Anyway, I wonder how well will her next album do. It looks like she's inspired rn by her divorce, so probably she's going for the Adele tactic.
craig 680
Combine Katy's US success + Rihanna's international success + Beyonce's singing & dancing talent + Bieber's fanbase + Madonna's touring & cultural impact ... only then would Gaga have met her match. boysboysboys 278
OK, I'm back. :P We'll see about Katy's sales. Remember that she didn't suffer through the kind of negative press and mismanagement that Gaga went through.

Gaga has to work on her dancing skills. but she is doing very well recently. Edited May 29, 2012 by Rino 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙

Yeah. Every strong point these artists have, Gaga has a bit of all of it.
