Is "Make Me" A PR Scheme?

But then I got thinking, is this a PR stunt to generate buzz?

Britney tweeted out a picture of the original video shoot

 

 

She then had E! come to the shoot

 

Obviously really trying to promote the new song and video. And they seemed happy with the way the video was going.

 

 

Then weeks later Perez "leaked" the video.

 

 

But how did Perez get the video? What if he got it from Britney's camp. They have worked together before. Here's Perez opening the Circus Tour

 

 

There seems like there was such a big effort to promote the video before it was released. Much more than normal. Was it an effort to make sure the public was aware about this version of the video?

 

And then in the new video I saw this:

 

 

 

(It starts where i want it to.) The sign says "Make Me Casting". So if the video is about the casting, then where's the Make Me video? My theory is that they plan to release the other video. They just wanted to create buzz about the song with people being upset that the original wasn't released. 

 

Then they'll release the video after "popular demand" and that will create more buzz as well.

This would be smart, because it would generate more streams which would benefit Britney. Interesting thread, hope it would be true

I hope they do release the 2nd version! It looks cool besides those nasty G-Eazy scenes  but I'm not sure if they will. If they do I'm glad Britney's team is finally being creative lol

Idk, I don't think anyone outside of Stan culture cares honestly. I'd like to think so but I think there's beef between her and the original director. Remember the video where she got angry and yelled at him? I think he got angry or something happened and scrapped everything, which is why we didn't get the original cover shot by him (rumored). I hope it comes out though
