DiscoHeaven23 35,007
This week we're acknowledging Gaga's 8th anniversary as a mainstream artist in the U.S. Its the week when Just Dance entered the Hot 100 chart. I thought it would be interesting to see what the world was like when Gaga became a household name. Bush was still president Gay Marriage was only legal in Massachusetts and California (it would soon be repealed in California). Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" was the #1 song "Forever" by Chris Brown and "Disturbia" by Rihanna were the #2 and #3 songs, respectively. This was the iPhone (3G) Britney Spears was on the verge of a comeback The Dark Knight was the #1 movie Two and a Half Men was the #1 sitcom. Modern Family hadn't even debuted yet. Selena Gomez was known only as an actress Miley Cyrus had just released her #1 album Breakout, which was her first album not associated with Hannah Montana. Add your own!
