:duck: If you're capable of learning to sing, you can sing. If you're capable of learning to write, you're capable of writing lyrics.

:duck: Just because someone's material doesn't appeal to you, does NOT mean that they are poor writers.

:duck: Keep threads like this, within your as-is educated parameter.

:duck: Some of you really need to grow up. The only reasonable excuse for threads along this manner, is your age. If you're older than 16, you should know better.

They can sing. They are just not very good at it.

Rihanna? Her voice has only gotten better and she is not one of the worst.

Shes not the best but that doesn't make her bad.

Love On The Brain, Sledgehammer are both examples of greatness by Queen Rihanna.

Which is why she is why she is the better one of the bunch

I think it's Madonna, cause she don't have as much talent as Gaga, vocally (and creatively). And Taylor swift also Selena Gomez. Maybe Britney Spears :wtf:

This is a mess, Rihanna has great vocal ability.

Selena Gomez, Katy Perry and Kesha can actually sing well (when acoustic).

So of all of pop music's history, you think the seven worst all happen to be either peers of Gaga, or the most successful female artist? :emma: I don't think any of that seven are anything special vocally, but worst is probably an exaggeration for most of that list.

She's probably not regarded as pop but Courtney Barnett was utterly crap live and of the footage I've seen, artists like Cheryl Cole seem to be as bad as the OP list. Also; see the majority of eurovision entries from the late 90s to ~2009. :emma:

Well, I am not aware of many of the European acts since I am not from Europe.

britney, who would go on to forever lower the bar for what it means to be a "pop singer"
