3.

Okay production with a forgettable melody. "Witness" was better IMO.

Again, its not THAT bad and I'm glad she finally decided to go with another direction. I give it a 6.:flop:

It's nothing special.

I'm sure that once her team pays radio to play it and make it number one, everyone will be singing it though. :saladga:

4. The production in all honesty is nice, but I hate when artists seemingly refuse to grow artistically. The lyrics are lazy, the vocals don't match the music, and as usual, she's using the same self empowerment theme she has used since 2010 :saladga:

If witness was released as lead i would've give it a 10 but this :air: this is Roar 2.0 just a little darker and slower, is not catchy but i wont say it is completely bad, the GP will love it as always and it will be top 10 for sure, but meh

is just not a very enjoyable song, i mean the radio really loves Katy but this song does not fit in the radio atm

This song is a cheap, chill version of "Roar." Nothing special about it - Katy cannot sing, for me the vocals don't go with the music and she didn't do anything new. I guess sticking to the same formula works for her - the general public will eat it up and make this an undeserved smash hit, much like most of the top hits of the past couple years; another generic pop song to be overplayed on the radio. I do consider myself a Katy Perry fan (I really thought Prism was a pretty good pop album), but this is just garbage... and to release it the same night as Britney Spears' "Make Me" to capitalize on the Taylor Swift drama just blows my mind. It's like the "Applause" debacle in 2013; once again, Katy loses this battle.
