Better video - Alejandro

Better song - G.U.Y. hands down

I've basically been listening to G.U.Y. almost everyday for the past two years. :rockstar:

I'd like to be in the mind of everyone saying G.U.Y.

How do you guys justify that omg :diane:

Voted for Alejandro, but if I had to answer this in GUY's defense... Hmm...

It definitely has some of her most interesting aesthetics, and some really beautiful shots. The color palette is also easier to digest than Alejandro, I guess.

Also, Alejandro had that bizarre shot of that one actor just... staring. I mean, imo the video still wins, but that shot... Steven...

IMO Alejandro is her best music video, however G.U.Y. has its moment- THAT bridge part with choreography in clone laboratory when they are only wearing jeans, its so cinematic and triumfall

I like parts of the guy but as a whole its incohesive and some scenes could have been done better

I'm legit shocked that the G.U.Y. video has so much love  When I first watched it I was slayed of course. But, with each subsequent viewing, its so hard to get past the sloppy editing, the tacky appearances by Bravo "celebrities", and that's not even taking into consideration how subpar the song is compared to Alejandro.

How dare you compare a timeless piece which is Alejandro to G.U.Y. - i love both of the music videos but come on let's be real..Alejandro shits on G.U.Y.

I love the darkness & coldness of Alejandro, there are very beautiful scenes, I'd pick it any time over G.U.Y. although G.U.Y. slays aswell & was self-directed by Gagz

"GUY". Not nearly as ambitious as "Alejandro" but dazzling in its own right, far more satisfying and appropriate to its song.

I love both of them but the GUY chorus is so insanely underwhelming :awkney: Alejandro is lyrically melancholic with the violin intro enhancing those emotions but the production is haunting and exciting. The song is really a story itself. Ugh I love The Fame Monster so much. GUY is a good pop song but it's a bit silly in a non clever way unlike the songs on The Fame which were humorous and brilliant. GUY lyrics and metaphors are cringeworthy especially the "retweet" lyric but overall it's still a somewhat fun song to listen to in your car.

Oh wait this is about better music video :air:

I still prefer Alejandro. GUY music video had so much potential with a high budget set but the final product was so disappointing. It's a cute music video to watch here and there but overall it has very low replay factor. I liked the ARTPOP intro with gaga as a phoenix and wish the music video was more like that scene visually. Alejandro music video is just brilliant and needs no more explanation.

Bloody hooker

While I love the GUY video, I think the Alejandro video is executed and planned out better.

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.
