It definitely has some of her most interesting aesthetics, and some really beautiful shots. The color palette is also easier to digest than Alejandro, I guess. But, with each subsequent viewing, its so hard to get past the sloppy editing, the tacky appearances by Bravo "celebrities", and that's not even taking into consideration how subpar the song is compared to Alejandro. Alien Tulip 12,428 Posted June 30, 2016 Share Posted June 30, 2016 I love both of them but the GUY chorus is so insanely underwhelming Alejandro is lyrically melancholic with the violin intro enhancing those emotions but the production is haunting and exciting. The song is really a story itself. Ugh I love The Fame Monster so much. GUY is a good pop song but it's a bit silly in a non clever way unlike the songs on The Fame which were humorous and brilliant. GUY lyrics and metaphors are cringeworthy especially the "retweet" lyric but overall it's still a somewhat fun song to listen to in your car. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

GUY music video had so much potential with a high budget set but the final product was so disappointing. It's a cute music video to watch here and there but overall it has very low replay factor. I liked the ARTPOP intro with gaga as a phoenix and wish the music video was more like that scene visually. Alejandro music video is just brilliant and needs no more explanation.
