I prefer Gaga's by far, though I will say that Katy's video's are usually better finished products even if lacking good ideas. From 2010 onwards I often felt like Gaga's video's suffered from very odd editing mistakes/decisions that end up ruining the whole thing for me (Alejandro and Born This Way are the best examples for that) and sometimes just awful ideas that are very on par with Katy's frequent lunacy in terms of visual content (Roar and Dark Horse were just abysmal, but imo so were Telephone, The Edge of Glory, and G.U.Y.) actually. So yeah, there are a few video's of Katy's that I actually would prefer over a lot of Gaga vids, like The One That Got Away, Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), California Gurls, Unconditionally, and Birthday for instance. Gaga definitely wins overall however Katy's ET, Firework, Unconditionally and Wide Awake are on par with Gaga's best. I agree with @Didymus her videos definitely took a decline 2010 onwards. For me they became a little contrived and pretentious; especially MTN. I understand why people like the video but I have to admit I can't watch it without cringing outta my ass.
