Of course I would admit that people in the West have a filtered view of reality (more from our complacency than active disinformation), we don't know everything, and it's quite possible that the Dalai Lama has been more hostile toward the Chinese government than we are aware. HOWEVER, whatever filter we have on our reality does not compare to the filter the Chinese government puts on the reality as Chinese people see it. Information is filtered and censored at a degree much greater in China than in the U.S. We have open access to the internet here, and I'm unable to find any significant evidence that the Dalai Lama is a bad person promoting terror.
