I am honestly still struggling to understand why some people would celebrate an exit. Like, the facts are there and they still use their xenophobic/racist views to justify the economic disadvantages. Both the producer surplus and consumer surplus are and will continue to decrease, resulting in a huge net welfare loss. Oh well. Nnnnnnnnn. In fact I'm disappointed that we ever had a referendum on this at all and I felt this way from the start. It has been frustrating, divisive, unnecessary and all on the whim of David Cameron and his buddies. His time as Prime Minister has been abysmal and this is just the final nail in the coffin, he has been an utterly terrible leader and he grossly misjudged the outcome of this vote. What makes me sad is that the Leave campaign exploited the fears about the NHS and used that as the crux of their argument. A whole slew of people will have voted for that reason and that reason alone, only to find it was a lie (which should have been obvious anyway.) There were bad moves made on both sides but it really bothers me that the NHS, which is so important to this country, was used to manipulate people in such a wildly untruthful way. It pains me even more to see people being interviewed on television who have now seen the fall out of the result and wish they had voted differently. The way this referendum was handled, on both sides of the argument, was a disgrace. The mistrust and uncertainty in the air has been palpable over the past few weeks and I feel like we are now a nation that is divided, angry and confused. But what's done is done, we all have different points of view and the vote has been made. All we can do now is hope that this ends up as a positive thing. I am desperate to be proven wrong and for Brexit to work out well for us, let's just hope that we come to a decent leaving agreement with the EU. Acting, and I planned on creating my own career there, because UK is a good transmitter to the rest of the world. In meantime I wanted to get uk citizenship and be able to travel to US, which is my main target for my future. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
